Treasure Island Yacht Club is the Bay Area’s best-kept secret for maritime fun and social activities!
Whether you're an experienced boater or simply looking for a warm, active community to be part of, TIYC welcomes you. We are currently accepting applications from all yachting enthusiasts at various membership levels, initiation fee and dues vary accordingly. You do not need to own a boat to become a member TIYC, but we do not offer any vessel charters.
Member Benefits
Members of the Club are entitled to use our facilities, participate in a wide range of regattas and cruises, and enjoy activities and dining events at our clubhouse on Treasure Island. Also: Members can rent the club house for private parties and meetings for only $100!

New member application process
Reach out to the TIYC Membership Committee. By submitting the form or contacting the committee you will be able to start an application for membership, get answers to your questions and receive an invitation to attend an upcoming event. Email - membership@tiyc.org
Attend an upcoming event as a guest. We invite prospective members to attend social events on a regular basis. This provides everyone an opportunity to get to know each other and to learn what our club is all about.
Secure a membership sponsor. Our membership application requires sponsorship form an existing member in good standing with the club. If you are new to the community, don't worry -- by attending an event, you’ll meet members and secure support and sponsorship for your application. We are a very welcoming club, you will feel right at home!
Provide a reference. If you’ve been a member of another yacht club, please let us know on your application. If you are new to boating, a reference from another social, civic, volunteer or recreational organization is acceptable.
Complete an application and send dues. We run new membership drives and special promotions every year, and our dues are some of the most affordable in the SF Bay Area!
Sponsoring a Member
Active TIYC members in good standing are eligible to sponsor a candidate for membership.
