Shamrock Shenanigans Run

Attention all Irish skippers, crew, and assorted leprechauns for a day…

Come race with TIYC on Sunday, March 18th in the First Annual Shamrock Shenanigans Run, a quick little jaunt from Treasure Island Yacht Club down the Oakland Estuary to the Encinal Yacht Club for brunch and green beer.

Better yet, bring your boat and your crew to TIYC on Saturday, March 17th and join us for dinner and breakfast the following morning with Irish coffee at TIYC at 8 am, and a 9 am Le Mans start, meaning if you’re there early and have your boat rigged up and ready to go the night before, you’ll have a big advantage over any hungover leprechauns still recovering from the revelries of the night before.

There will be sign-up divisions for sailors and power boaters alike, and fun prizes such as greenest boat, smallest boat, and greenest crew.  Don’t forget to wear green.

NOR to be published on the TIYC website, www.tiyc.org, by March 9th, and the SI’s by March 16th at 5 pm.
