The 4th of July Chili Cookoff

Westpoint Regatta and Island Time Party

REGISTER NOW to race on July 16 in the Westpoint Regatta and Island Time Party.
For the twelfth run of this regatta, TIYC is pleased to be partnering again with the Club at Westpoint, particularly for now for the first time in 3 years.
TIYC will be hosting registered boat captains for the pre-race meeting and reception, on Friday, July 15 at the Treasure Island Yacht Club, with appetizers and no-host bar.  The next morning, TIYC’s Race Committee will be ready to announce the start of the regatta, record your check-ins, and see you off as you head to the first mark, around Harding Rock Light Buoy.

This Saturday is your opportunity to enjoy a festive dance featuring swing music, in support of the Treasure Island Museum.  SRO tickets are $25.

New Year’s Day Cruise Around the Island

There will be a continental breakfast and cruise around the island on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022 to celebrate a new year.
Vaccination is required according the the San Francisco Health Department.  Please bring proof of vaccination.
0900 Continental breakfast.
1000 Assignment to boats
1030 to 1300, Enjoy the ride
1300 We will be back at the dock, due to the outgoing tide.
1330 A delicious lunch with chowder and all the fixings.
Park in the large parking lot in front of the main building.  To enter TIYC, open the middle door where the TIYC sign will be.  Go to the right in the hallways, past two doors until you find the yacht club on your left.  Any problems, call the TIYC phone number 415 – 434 – 4475.
Cost:  $20.00 for adults.  Children under 12 are half price.

Treasure Island Yacht Club New Year’s Eve Celebration

Friday, Dec. 31, 5 P.M. (1700), til 9 P.M. (2100)

At the Clubhouse: One Avenue of the Palms, Ste. 133, Treasure Island,San Francisco, CA 94130

Please park in the large parking lot in front of the main building. A sign will be placed inside the “middle” door, which will be unlocked for your entrance.

Pot Luck (please bring something to share that you like!)

Cost: any donation for the alcohol you bring! (Suggested donation for wine corkage fee is $8.00.)
6:00 P.M.: Dinner will be casual and delicious!

We will watch New York celebrate and observe the New Year ball fall until 9 P.M. (That is their midnight!)

We will wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Required: Vaccination, please bring your proof of vaccination. Wear a mask indoors, unless you are eating or drinking, as required by the San Francisco Department of Health.

General Membership Meeting, November 13

Please come to the new TIYC clubhouse in Building 1 for our General Membership Meeting on Saturday, 13 November. This is the annual meeting to elect club officers and directors for the next year. The business meeting starts at 5 PM, with dinner at 6 PM, and the announcement of election results at 7 PM. For those who cannot attend in person, the meeting will be available on line via Zoom. Details will be provided later.

Oktoberfest Celebration at TIYC on September 25th

It’s time to put on your lederhosen and dirndl to celebrate Oktoberfest at TIYC on Saturday, September 25th.
TIME: 3pm to 7pm.
MENU: Sauerkraut, Wurst and other German goodies.
DRINK: Bring your favorite beers and /or wines (until we get our ABC license, this will be a Bring Your Own Drink event.
COST: $15 per person for dinner. $6 for each of your six-pack to bring, $10 per bottle of your wine.
DRESS CODE: Don’t come nude but per County’s health directive we do check for proof of VACCINATION.
