Cruise out to Sam’s for lunch, Drinks at Corinthian YC

Activities Schedule:
1020 hrs–Club open for coffee : Meet at club to pick up crew. Push off by 1100
1245 hrs–cruise out to Tiburon, dock at Sam’s Anchor Café for lunch
1415 hrs.-walk over to Corinthian YC for drinks
1515 hrs.-head back home to TIYC, arrive back 1700 hrs.

Join the Race Committee Team training 3/19/2016

TIYC will be hosting the first Inter Club race on April 9th and providing the Race Committee for this first race of the season.

We would like to have members “Join The Race Committee Team”.

While experience is helpful, we are looking for anyone who has interest in helping with the Race Committee to come and join our team.  A training session will be held on Saturday, March 19th starting at 10:30am in the Clubhouse.

We will have a chalk talk in the morning and a practice session on a committee boat in the afternoon.

The seminar will be held from 8:00am – 5:00 pm.

$40 seminar fee includes seminar materials plus pastries, coffee and juices in the morning and drinks throughout the day. Participants are responsible for their own lunch, however several choices from Encinal Yacht Club’s Bar Menu will be available to purchase on the seminar date.

Around the Islands, January 1, 2016

The first cruise of the year is scheduled for January 1, 2016.

The club will be open @9:30am..we will have coffee and bagels or croissants etc before sail around island.  The cruise is scheduled to depart at 11:30am.

Westpoint Regatta – July 18, 2015

The 7th Annual Westpoint Regatta from Treasure Island to Redwood City will take place on July 18th.

Friday July 17th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM there will be a Pre-Race Reception at the Waterbar in San Francisco.
The No-Host bar will feature a Mount Gay rum cocktail.

Once you finish the race, join the Island Time Party at Sequoia Yacht Club complete with bands from 5:00 pm until late.

The 7th Annual Westpoint Regatta will be held on Saturday July 18, 2015. This is an annual event that is run by the Sequoia Yacht Club and the Treasure Island Yacht Club.

The race is part of the YRA Weekend Regatta Series. There will be a pre-race gathering at the Waterbar in San Francisco at the foot of the Bay Bridge on the Friday, July 17th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.  The No-Host bar will feature a Mount Gay rum cocktail.

On Saturday racers join the Weekend Regatta Fleet to race around Alcatraz and rocket downwind with the flood tide to Redwood City, where Sequoia Yacht Club will be your host at the “Island Time Party” in the “tropical” region of San Francisco Bay. On Sunday racers will enjoy a breakfast at Sequoia Yacht Club before catching the ebb current back to the north bay.
